In positive news, the NABHL has selected the Shockers' own Steve Towell as Player of the Month for the Rockstar Division.
NABHL stated on their website:
"After a relatively mediocre season in the intermediate league last season, Steve Towell (6gp,13g,9a,22pts) is a big reason the Shockers have emerged as one of the stronger teams in Ball Hockey this season. Towell played a big role in big wins for the Shockers over the Purple Cobras and the Warriors. While the Shockers have dropped two straight, Towell is a major bright spot for this improving squad."
